Berlin-based, Franco-German producer and DJ Franz Matthews alongside well-known happiness coach Jonathan Lehmann (Les Antisèches du Bonheur) has crafted a beautifully hypnotic EP that combines the practice of guided meditation through narration and music as one.
Collating remixes from a spread of some of the greatest minds in electronic music today, including Aera (Innervisions), The Organism (Disco Halal) and Milio (half of the duo Tunnelvisions, Atomnation) to create their unique interpretations of this pioneering project of mind and music.
Franz Matthews’s original brings a complex web of interlocking percussion rhythms that develop with unfolding synths throughout the guided meditation. Transporting us on a journey through the mind with a captivating piece of musical story-telling throughout.

Crosstown Rebels’ sub-label Rebellion returns with a fourth instalment of its ongoing SOULS series, with fresh tracks from a selection of exciting, up-and-coming talent.
Curated by label head Damian Lazarus, Rebellion’s excellent SOULS series has always transcended sounds and scenes to dig deep into the most forward-thinking new electronic niches. It has a deeply embedded spiritual theme, like most projects with which Lazarus is associated, and this volume again connects the dots between a number of innovative producers from across the globe.
Belgrade and Mykonos-based duo MĪMĪ x FY open up with ‘Robotic Mode’, linking with Estray for a silky synth- laced house cut that goes deep into a cosmic future. The deft chords, spoken words and sci-fi signifiers enrich the groove perfectly. Brazil's Vini Pistori is next with ‘Hypnotized’, a scintillating fusion of pixelated melodies and bright, starry-eyed chords over a drawn-out and languid groove that is perfect for the late-night hours.
Frequent collaborators MILI and Hoomance then step up with ‘Casa Mama’, a playful cut with a carnival feel thanks to the characterful horns which bounce about over the crisp drums. It's a track full of soul and sunshine that captures the joy of dancing outdoors. OMRI closes things with the rubbery bass and skewed synth futurism of his off-grid percussive masterclass, 'Funk Rhythm.’
Another taste-making statement from the label and Lazarus, Rebellion presents SOULS Vol.4 is loaded with the sounds of tomorrow across another excellently curated package.

Keeping momentum high, following on from the success of last year's edition, April now welcomes the latest instalment of sister label Solid Grooves Raw's ongoing 'Raw Grooves' VA series, showcasing a dynamic blend of label regulars and fresh faces across another highly anticipated compilation as we prepare for the summer season. Returning to the label, Romanian favourite Kidoo and GruuvElement's bring their signature sounds back to the imprint, while a selection of debuting artists inject fresh energy into the mix in the form of Parisian duo Miroloja, VBX powerhouse Ferro alongside Malin, Italy's Noha, Brazil's NoCapz., and France's Oward, Tony Romera & Max Mash.
