I was reporting from outside Ibrox stadium in Glasgow when thousands of Rangers fans broke lockdown rules to celebrate their victory in the Scottish Premiership. This aired across Bauer Radio’s network of Scottish stations including Clyde 1, Forth 1 and Northsound.

COP26 in November 2021 was one of the biggest events the city has hosted since the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

During the two-week climate event, I reported from inside the conference as well as from protests on the outside reflecting the disruption caused to the city.

I count myself very lucky to be able to secure lots of work given the difficult conditions of the pandemic.

As a student, I developed my passion for radio news by volunteering at a community radio station and undertaking various work experience placements with a range of broadcasters in Scotland including the BBC and Global Radio.
