FLATLINE - Live at the Waimea ReStore

Mister Peanut Butter is a four piece psych rock band, formed in Waimea in 2015.  They play catchy originals which pay homage to their rock influences -  the Velvet Underground, the Stooges, Devo, the Kinks. Until recently, Mister Peanut Butter played mostly elusive, pop-up shows - to a small, but growing number of “Peanettes”.  Recently, however, they’ve been spotted at the Hilo Town Tavern, Blue Dragon, Honoka'a Public House, Kukuau Studio, and the Big Island Brewhaus.  Shows which have garnered favorable reviews.

Makana, Hawaiian musician, says, "Thoroughly impressed. legit sound like 60s rock ala ‪Neil Young‬ Crazy Horse etc".

Chuck Gessert, Artistic Director of Kahilu Theatre, says, "I've seen Mister Peanut Butter four times and booked them at Kahilu, so yeah, I like them!  Their original songs stay in my head."

Scotty Nelson, Keyboardist from Lorenzo's Army and co-organizer of "Bring It!", says, "Their songs are catchy and something different than I'm used to hearing."

Tom Kerns, owner of Big Island Brewhaus says, "I really like the stuff they're doing."
