O Violet

My wife and mother of our three children passed away 11th December 2019. This song is about my journey through her three year battle with cancer. Our 8 year old daughter contributes some wonderful backing vocal harmonies.
All instruments and vocals (except my daughter) are performed by me. I never played bass, lead guitar or barely drums before.

Ready For Reality

My 8 year old daughter recently started learning to play guitar. I heard her playing and singing 'You are my Sunshine' and thought her voice was just beautiful. I realized I had to record the song to capture it forever. She won't be my sweet little 8 year old forever :-)
So to the studio we went. I'm so proud of her, she plays guitar as well. We hope you like this version of a classic song.

You are my Sunshine

Astrid, my wife lost her cancer battle in Dec 2019. Our three children (7, 9, 11) and I wrote and recorded 'All About Mummy' in January 2021. We wanted to honour Astrid with a beautiful song, and also sell it to raise money for breast cancer charity, McGrath Foundation. 

We raised AUD10,000. 
My daughter Lottie wrote 75% of the lyrics, Oscar, Carlo and I contributed the rest. I wrote and performed all the music and we all shared the vocals. 

We appeared twice on Channel 7 TV in Australia to share our song with the nation.

I'm so proud of our children, and proud of each of us because none of us had ever written and/or recorded a song before.  

We hope you like it.

Every time someone listens to 'All About Mummy' we honour Astrid a little more.
