our next theme is for the last plague type added, this one is for what's called the shadow plague. where the necroa virus is for making zombies, here, we have one for vampires. now, the gimic with this one is, rather than say, just the disease, the pathogen on its own as it were, this time, we start off with just a single vampire, like Dracula say. so, the vampire awakens in a country of your choosing, I believe if you start off in central Europe, it turns out you actually  are Dracula. so, from then on, you can either have Dracula just go around sucking everyone dry like smoothies, or else, if you use a symptom called shadow blessing, you can have him start infecting the people he attacks. now, where your zombies have Z com and apes have gen-sys to worry about, as a vampire, you've got the templars to fight. thankfully, you can make lairs to get to and heal up in. how do I know all this stuff without ever playing plague inc myself you may ask? by reading up and listening to people on youtube. now, they made another good theme to give the vampire feel to this one, if you listen, you can hear the deep-voiced lattin gregorian chanting and the ominous organ in there. apparently, if you want to find out what the lyrics those guys are ominously booming in there mean, don't even think about looking up the whole thing, don't, just, don't. I haven't even looked up the first word, not out of fear, I prefer to keep it a mystery like that, it makes it spookier in a way. if they have zombies and vampires, they should do one for werewolves, with things like howls and growls in the background. why not? anyway, this is the theme for the shadow plague. enjoy, and for any good vampires in our team, this one is for you.

hi there, Soundsman here again. hope everybody's still happy, healthy, and awesome of course. now, as we're getting closer and closer to Halloween, I thought I'd give us some more warped and twisted audio. this first one could be used as a notification say. it's a guy moaning "help meeeeeeee", but I've added an effect called scary on it, so he'll sound more ghostly. just imagine if you had a decoration of a ghost trapped in a box or some other container, and when you triggered it, the box started shaking and you heard this played from inside a couple of times. I have one with a girl's voice whispering it too, with an echo on her voice. anyway, this is my take on this sound effect.

if you have children, or simply wish to recapture the spirit of childhood yourself, now you can. some of these are lullabies, and some are different versions of the same tune from different countries or contexts, such as did you ever see a lassie? being the Scots version of did you ever see. similarly, incy wincy spider, and itsy bitsy spider, are the UK and US versions of the same song. the version of twinkle twinkle little star used here is obviously meant to be the lullaby version as it's so soothing. if someone's travelling by boat somewhere, you could use row row row your boat, they can be used in all manner of ways. the versions of the animal fare that are here are in differenc keys for different contexts. the version in A, is usually the one that soldiers march or ride along to while singing, while the one in C, is the one people often use for actual animals like circus animals. some are a little more obscure, like merrily we roll along, which is about being a sailor aboard a ship going across the sea. others have versions in different languages, like Frere Jacques being the french version of are you sleeping? that one's really nice because of how all the instruments come together at different times, showing how the song itself is usually sung as a round. anyway, hope you like these tunes.

hey again, Soundsman here again. how's everybody? remember the remix I made by blending some of the soundtracks from plague inc and plague inc evolved? well, this is the same thing, only it's slowed down a bit, to three quarters its usual speed, or seventy-five percent to be exact. somehow, it sounds even creepier when you slow it down. anyway, here we go JAWS team.

this playlist comprises the same chime I put up previously, the one I put up that sounds like the cloister bell on the tardis. remember I said how I was thinking of having it play more than once? well, here we have it like that, but I thought I'd give it another little twist by having the chime ring like the chimes of a striking clock. so each track represents each hour, from one to twelve. I can also do a twenty-four hour version if you wish, no problem. anyway, here we go.

this is the theme used in cure mode, where the regular version of plague inc and plague inc evolved is basically reversed, so instead of playing as the disease and using it to end the world, now you're playing as humanity. the term flattening the curve basically means trying to prevent a disease from spreading and trying to confine it to one area if possible, before cases of it rise out of control. let's go.

this is another track from plague inc and plague inc evolved. this isn't strictly a song, it's actually one of the background sound effects heard as you infect the world. it has a kid singing ring around the rosy with some reverse echo and normal echo added to it. hope you like this one.

Hi there, Soundsman here, back for another Soundsman Saturday. hopefully everybody's still happy, healthy, and of course, awesome. now, this time, we'll be having a variety of sound effects, but they all have one thing in common, which is that they're all combinations of sounds which just so happen to mix or sync perfectly with each other, or near enough perfectly anyway. all these sounds by the way, are taken from zapsplat.com, should you wish to use them for yourselves. so, this first one is a combination of sounds which were originally made to sound like a clock ticking. so, I went through the ones I have, and blended the ones that rhythmically matched up together to make one sound. in this first version, we've got a couple of antique clickers, three different kinds of clock, a bone cracking rhythmically, an antique volt metre, and a victorian microscope, like something Sherlock Holms might use. this is the first of three versions, so the other ones are made with other different objects. this first one gives  you the most traditional tick, tock, tick, tock sound. I don't know myself if these will actually loop, but they probably do. here we go.

this next track is another version of the previous clock sound mix. this one is a bit different, as this one sounds more like a heartbeat, you'll hear what I mean if you listen. this one was made using three different types of clock, a kettle, kitchen scales and a stapler. now, because of the way they're mixed, sometimes they'll fall out of sync, but interestingly enough, that actually makes them create different rhythms when you listen as well as the base heartbeat-like rhythm, so instead of tick, tock, tick, tock, this time we get tick tock, tick tock. here we go.

hi there, it's Soundsman. how's everybody. now, I know this isn't quite our @Soundsman saturday, but I thought I'd share this with you all. now, as the title suggests, this is what I call a reversed nightcore version of the creepy version of twinkle twinkle little star from the original dead space. what I mean by reversed nightcore is what it sounds like, so rather than having the song be sped up with pitched up vocals, this is the exact opposite. before the track itself starts, we do give you an audible warning about what's to come, as I know creepy stuff isn't everybody's cup of tea. for the brave heroes and heroines among you, take a listen if you like. here we go. we'll be back tomorrow evening with some more reversed nightcore versions of some more cheerful songs. this is a little sequence I just made for fun. you know how in some of the lego games, when you're on the bouncy platforms trying to jump to a higher area, but no matter how high you jump you can't seem to make it, but then you finally do? well, that's what this person's doing. they're on one of those bouncy trampoline platforms, so they bounce three times, then they do a big jump and get up onto a higher area, and then they just run on. the person could be you, me, anyone.

ever wondered what those garbled tanoy announcements in lego star wars the force awakens are saying? well, I found that if you reverse them, they become intelligible, and strangely enough, either their galaxy may be closer to us than  you might expect, or maybe someone from their galaxy visited here, recorded the announcements and brought them back with them. next time I go into space, I'll take a look. :D anyway, here are the tanoy announcements translated into English for you.

more lego fun now. this is a sound that those who play the lego games should recognise. this is the triumphant sound of you finding a minikit piece. for the non lego gamers out there, minikits are small lego models, pieces of which you have to find as you play through each level of a story in the game. sometimes you can just look at them once they're fully built, and they'll have something to do with the level you got them from, but other times you can actually use the thing you made, such as having it be a mini version of a vehicle that you can drive or fly in. now, there are two versions of this sound, so this one is the classic version if you will. here we go.

this is the same as the previous file, the sound for picking up a minikit piece in the lego games, but this is just a newer version of it, a more modern version. here we go.
