DJ Zaffa is a Venice-based DJ and selector with over two decades of experience in the underground music scene. Starting out at just 15, he was raised on a steady diet of funk, soul, and disco — thanks to a family immersed in nightlife and crate-digging culture. His sets reflect that upbringing: eclectic, groove-driven, and rooted in a deep appreciation for music across decades. Zaffa weaves together jazz-funk, boogie, ‘80s synth sounds, early house, and contemporary shades of techno and electronica, building sets that feel both nostalgic and forward-thinking. A skilled digger and thoughtful curator, he approaches DJing as a storytelling craft — prioritizing flow, energy, and mood over flashy transitions or obvious hits.

Beyond clubs, Zaffa is active in radio and podcast culture, notably through his series “Laguna Waves,” which explores underground and alternative sounds with guests like Robert Babicz. He has performed across Italy and played internationally with gigs in cities like London, Paris, or Zurich, steadily building a reputation for authenticity and musical depth. His selections have also been featured on platforms such as My Analog Journal (UK) or Sacré Radio (France).

Alex Burkat is a regular on the Mister Saturday Night dancefloor. Early one morning, after a night of dancing at 12-turn-13, he sent us 'Shower Scene,' a triumphant song full of strings and things. Eamon and Justin liked it so much that they decided to do their own version, a dreamier take on the original; and to complete the package, Alex added 'Ammadomyownthing,' a slamming, way-off-kilter monster of a track.
