track 4 from the album "B Sides, Alternates and Other Songs" ......... a collection of 10 songs written or recorded during the making of my "For the Stars" album in 2019 but didn't make the album.......releasing one song monthly thru October 2020!

"What Would Jesus Say" is a true "B Side". It was complete and ready to go during the making of my "For the Stars" album but just didn't make the cut. I think I felt I already had a couple of songs that I would call "about our current times" and just didn't want another. This song is about all the "bad behavior" of people in the world today and asks the question, would they act differently if they thought Jesus or someone important in their lives was watching them.

This song is a collaboration with Hennessey On Drums (Patrick Hennessey) of Sacramento, CA. A long-time musical companion of mine, we worked on this song during the first wave of COVID-19 lockdown in the US, Spring of 2020. 

Not fully mixed yet, this song is about 85% done, happy with it so far. I especially like the mixture of electronic elements, live drumming (Pat!!), and organic instruments (electric guitar, kalimba, piano). A very interesting mish-mash if you ask me.

I grew up as a Hassidic jew. and in my music I sometimes address my religious experiences. I try to create unique, fun, and dark music. sometimes leaning towards crude and distasteful.. I love fast rap ever since I heard twista. im not a hater when it comes to mumble rap. if it sounds good im a fan. I just want to create music with more depth, and lyricism.
