It's a jazz approach to DJing. Improvisation. The Beatscaping series isn't meant to display my mixing skills or turntable trickery, nor is it about making a mixtape in the studio with a pre-determined theme. Beatscaping is about setting off on an adventure, knowing only the first step, the first song, with a blank canvas after that. I purposely disregard genre so I can challenge myself & explore more possibilities to bring you what I feel is great music, period. The Beatscaping mixes are recorded live.
