Claptrack (Kitsch Version)

Towers Open Fire is a song that grabs me just as hard today as it did the first time I heard it. No recording does it justice, and there was nothing like witnessing this song live as Robert Porter poured his entire body and soul into it. RIP Mr. Porter. We'll take it from here.

This song was originally released on the Welfare Dub Cassette. It is the title track of the remastered EP on iTunes and Amazon under the band name Thin White Line. With the opening lines, "Love and emotion begone. History repeats itself if we wait to long..." it's as pertinent now as it was 20 years ago. Another great Robert Porter song.

Superman and That Girl

This is a digitally polished version of a song from an earlier release now available as part of the Superman and That girl EP on Amazon and iTunes. It is the hottest track from the 90's and I would put it up against classics like Ace of Spades, Sonic Reducer or Anything by the New York Dolls. I love all those songs, but I think this is just as good. So pop on some headphones, buckle up and prepare for the 100 mile an hour propulsion of Thrilling Cities.

Before Thin White Line, I was in Kitsch with my brother Tony, Jeff Goldhammer and a few different drummers. This song was recorded before we splintered into other bands. Jeff wrote it and taught Tony the bass part. I joined in later. I'm posting it to honer my brother who passed away on December 5, 2019. Peace

Pictures of Flesh is a song we performed from the very beginning. This version was mixed and engineered in the Granati Brothers studio in Coraopolis, Pa in the late 1990's and features Toby Houser on bass and Jason Bakes on guitar.
