Two Gun Theory Mix

Balancing  Act was written while the band was working on a picket line for a local grocery union. We weren't hired so much for our activism, as we were for the somewhat scary images that we presented. It was work, and our release Welfare Dub, and this song, which was released a few years later, were the results.

This song appeared on our 7 inch we released with Smog Veil Records. It was re-released on a full length CD a few years later. This song is from the dark years when many of us were living on the edge of the law, and sometimes finding ourselves in a bit over our heads. It's less a celebration, and more a cautionary tale.

This song was part of our first release, Dock of the Bus Stop. We recorded this at a small studio on the edge of the city limits. It was one of my favorite recording sessions as it was the first time I realized how powerful our band was, and how great the legendary Robert Porter could be.

Everyone You Meet

These are songs from the first Thin White Line release back in 1987. Recorded on a 4 track reel to reel with just a few microphones and basic equipment, it's a great example of the punk DIY attitude of the time.

This is a newer version of the song recorded at a professional studio and promptly lost. I found it recently and feel it is a better mix than the original.
