London-based 22 year old, Douglas Worth, views life through a different coloured lens. Growing up in Maidenhead riddled with personal losses and financial struggles, performing was his main outlet. At 16, after a childhood career in theatre (including the West-End run of ‘Oliver’), Douglas picked up his first guitar, wrote his first song and hasn’t put it down since.

With influences from James Taylor and Damien Rice, Douglas mashes finger-picked guitar melodies and emotionally intense lyrics with pop elements; bringing the folk sound straight into 2020. Fascinated with human nature, his music tells the stories of breaking free, fearing the next step, romance, loss, the light, the dark and every shade in between.
