Mx. Demeanor is a Queer Boston-based artist, designer, event producer & DJ. A resident and co-founder of the iconic local parties like Clown Town, Sheer Bliss, and Diva Down, they are deeply committed to cultivating spaces of radical Queer joy through art, music, and dance. A force of nature both on the dance floor and behind the booth, Mx. Demeanor’s house, techno, & genre-defying selections are designed to ignite ecstatic movement. A formally trained dancer, they curate sounds for bodies in motion: the freaks on the floor, the sweeties by the subwoofer, and the baddies in the booth.

"This mix is a retooled recording of an opening set I played at Electric Toucan, an experimental art pop-up party hosted in a converted warehouse. I was deep in my soulful art-hoe fantasy for this one, curating selections to inspire thought, connection, and movement. As the opener, my intention was to warm the soul of the dancefloor with hypnotic grooves, wavy basslines, and a healthy serving of bongos. Groovy, jazzy, and at times downright funky, this mix is a dreamy journey through the soulful corners of my collection."
