Joaquín Boneton Lapeña has been an active DJ and producer on the scene since the early 90s. Over the years, he has evolved through various genres of electronic music, participating in projects like Dark Archives, which significantly influenced the Spanish Drum&Bass scene, until becoming The Zenobit3, where he has mastered his focus on Electro. His track "Madrid My Beat" on the renowned label Drivecom Records became an anthem.

He is a respected artist known for his energetic sets, exquisite technique on the decks, and refined taste, encompassing everything from the most classic and purist productions of the genre to the most current, powerful, and dancefloor-friendly rhythms. His ability to create coherent narratives ensures an immersive journey that captivates the audience in his club sessions, standing out for his musical sensitivity, impossible mixes, and limitless creativity, establishing him as a DJ with great personality and quality. He produces music on labels such as Gente Seria Viste Chandal, Redsonja Records, and Merman Records, where he develops his musical interests and imprints a unique vision of Electro.

This time, we feature his participation in a new podcast in the Stelar Booking series, a journey through a meticulous selection of Electro composed of a variety of tracks that represent the best of the genre. It includes productions from prominent artists like The Exaltics, Carl Finlow, Morphology, and E.R.P., all known for their constant innovative and distinctive contributions. With Alien Communications’ star rising exponentially, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the UK artist’s turn on our InSessions mix series - and he hasn’t disappointed. Welding bomb-proof beats, outrageous acid lines, and fathoms-deep basslines to robotic aesthetics, this mix simultaneously looks back in time while fast-forwarding far into the future.
