El gremio restaurantero se encuentra en una situación muy crítica y piden al Gobierno de la Ciudad de México medidas para sobrevivir, ya no para resarcir pérdidas.

En el espacio de Joaquín López-Dóriga de Radio Fórmula, Francisco Fernández, presidente de la Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Restaurantes y Alimentos Condimentados (Canirac), señaló que buscan que las medidas los ayuden a atravesar este momento de crisis.

“Esperamos que hoy haya una respuesta afirmativa y que se trate, por lo menos, de sobrevivir, porque ya no se trata de ganar, únicamente de sobrevivir, no tratamos ya de resarcir pérdidas”, señaló.

 

Reveló que la Canirac representa a 600 mil agremiados, que generan 2 millones de empleos de manera directa y 3.5 indirectos.

Sin embargo, debido a la pandemia, se perdió el 20 por ciento del empleo y el 15 por ciento de los restaurantes cerró.

“Hablamos de hogares, no de números. Estamos hablando de hogares que se quedan sin ingresos y sin empleos. Eso es una tragedia”, dijo.

 

Señaló que han propuesto a las autoridades algunas medidas para continuar operando, tales como la reducción de horarios, de aforos y de añadir un día más cierre a la semana porque lo que buscan es una posición intermedia.

“Les propusimos disminuir a 25 por ciento el aforo, dejar de trabajar los lunes, disminuir los horarios porque sentimos que es una posición intermedia que nos permitirá abrir”, apuntó.
