Sad And Lonely

Standing at the corner, don't know where to go
I lost my sense of direction and I'm feeling low
which way should I go to get to you
I stroll around town roaming around you can't imagine what I've been through
I'm sad and lonely

When I left my home town I thought I could make it make it on my own
but I never was so helpless I was feeling so alone
I lost my friends, times were really bad
Fell down on my knees, rolling over, stood up again, I lost everything I had

Can you give me shelter, shelter from the rain
I need someone to comfort me before I go insane
I need some time to get back on my feet
gathering strength, building self-confidence, that's what I need to get back on the street

I used to get up in the morning

And wipe the sleep out of my eyes

A cold shower hot coffee that`s how I started the day
