Born in Johannesburg to a mixed family, TavIs Inferno, had to go through the trials and tribulations of growing up in a violent, racially discriminated environment mixed with the hardships that every teenagers has to go through has moulded him into a person who found sanctuary within music.

Inferno makes music for people to cry, party, vibe or just straight out moshpit to. He believes that, "music gets people through hard times eventhough it may not take the pain away, it makes the pain easier to bear"
