Hlomla Mpongoshe known as Jay monster or Jay SA was born on 
the 18th of November 1997. He is an Artist, Sound director, event
organizer and Project manager at Future Star Entertainment. At the 
age of 11 Jay started joining street cyphers and got his name on the
streets of Port Elizabeth music. 
Jay Monster is an Award Winning Artist from Port Elizabeth who 
broke the Eastern Cape Scene with His Debut EP "The Come Up". He 
was then published on S.A Hip Hop Magazine as The Fresh Prince of 
Eastern Cape Hip Hop. Jay Monster later on had a local Radio Tour 
BayFM, KQFM, Madibaz Radio and Link FM. On the 20th of April 
2018 Jay Monster Released His 2nd Project called "Life In Colour" 
which blew up the Eastern Cape Hip Hop Scene, again resulting in 
him representing Port Elizabeth Hip Hop to Places like Western Cape, 
George.

 2018-Performed alongside Cassper Nyovest & Nokwazi.
 2019- Performed at Ebubeleni Urban Festival. 
 2020- Hosted BAY LIVE SESSIONS in Partnership with the 
Department of Arts & Culture.
 2020- Had a provincial Radio Tour to Forte FM,KQ FM,TRUFM 
,BAYFM and a TV interview on BAYTV. 
 2021- Hosted BAY LIVE SESSIONS S2 with Arts & Culture. 
 2021- Nominated as Best Eastern Cape Artist (Mzantsi Media 
Awards)
 2021- Performed alongside Kabza De Small, A-REECE, DEE 
KOALA AND ZAIN SA. 
 2021- Booked at Ebubeleni Urban Festival.
