I’ve been a working musician , composer, sound engineer, business owner and production manager for over 35 years I’ve been fortunate to have mixed and produced shows for everyone from Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Oscar Peterson  to Doobie Brothers, Temptations, Elton John, Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson to name a few.
I’m now spending most of my time in my recording studio playing at least 3 sessions a week with different  musicians or recording original compositions playing all the instruments myself.

Instruments played and owned:

Percussion - Drums, tabla, naal, ghatam, kanjira, djembe, darbuka, vibraphone, malletstation, handsonic, hang drum, congas, bongos, berimbau, hand percussion etc.

Flutes - Piccolo, concert, alto, bass, bansuri, Native Indian, ney

Basses - 4 & 5 string fretless and fretted.

Keys - Yamaha 88 digital controller , Motif ES6 & Roland 2080

Strings - Acoustic & electric steel , classical & 12 string guitars, ngoni, oud, electric sitar.

The recordings on SoundCloud are rough demos of me playing all the instruments with NO sequencing, quantizing or looping, just real time overdubbing.
I have a nice studio setup with good mics and all the instruments listed above.
When I’m not playing / recording music, I’m sailing my boat and kayaking on the San Francisco bay, bike riding by my house at beach or traveling. (Last year I was in South East Asia, Europe & New Orleans)
