This was an assignment for my Intro to Electroacoustic class. I got to play around with sounds that I recorded to make musique concrète.

This was a piece I wrote this past spring originally for four horns. A lot of my music tends to be optimistic and I believe that characterizes the feelings that I had when creating it. I give a special thank you to my horn professor, Dr. Paul Basler and the UF Horn Studio for allowing me to get this piece performed and recorded.

To Touch The Sky (2021) (for Horn Ensemble)

I messed around for 5 minutes with my midi keyboard just to see what random notes and no erasing would sound like. I thought it was amusing more than anything else.

Who Even Knows (don't take this seriously)

This is a collection of solitary piano preludes I wrote ranging from my senior year of high school to last year. I thought of creating these as a set of preludes to play when you're alone and maybe need something to stimulate that loneliness.

The pianist in this recording is James Crossman and it was performed at the University of Florida Undergraduate Composition Concert.

This was a piece I wrote for my senior honors project. It was performed at a reading session for the composition studio at UF. It was written as a nod to disco, soul, and funk- all genres of music that I listened to growing up. I always wanted to write music that refected my cultural background and I felt that these genres resonated
with me the most.

"Groove: a disco fanfare" (2023) - UF Symphony Orchestra

This piece embodies changes in many different ways such as meter and harmony, but as I continued to write it, the piece embodied the changes happening in my life at the time as well. Changes can be scary, but the unknown can hold beauty hidden inside.

I thank all of my performers dearly for a wonderful premiere performance of this work. This is one of my favorite pieces that I have written to date and it was fantastic seeing it brought to life. I hope you all enjoy their performance!

"Changes" (2023) for String Quartet

This is a piece that I wrote for The _____ Experiment in 2022. The original conception I had for the instrumentation of this piece was actually for a sax quartet, so I decided to finally revise it. Here is a performance of the piece from the Fall 2023 UNCG Student Composers Concert II.

Program Notes:
I have always found the textures of minimalist and post-minimalist composers such John Adams and Steve Reich very interesting. While I have not brought myself to write explicitly
in those styles, I have found great inspiration in the color one can achieve with repetition. This piece explores the different colors that I have experimented with.
