Danza Native owner Forest on Stasys brings his signature sound to the very first Mirror Tapes Worldwide. The organic approach of the Argetinean producer complements the ethereal character of the fresh Mirror Tapes label perfectly. ‘Kabata’ captures what we expected from the Buenos Aires based producer and brings some real dancefloor-exotica to this first Worldwide VA record. 

Mirror Tapes is a Melbourne/Naarm based label, founded by the talented producer Adam McCoy aka ‘Citizen Maze’. The label focuses on electronic music that captures the ambience and immersion of the world around us. Adam has been on our radar for quite some time now due to his extraordinary approach within his live sets, creating real sonic journeys. Happy to see his vision expand into this newborn label.

Premiere: Forest On Stasys - Kabata

This is the final dose of Pervocet. Pervocet is the brand name of the psychedelic music project from Patrick Russell and Jasen Loveland and is used to induce moderate to severe psychosis. The short-term effects of Pervocet last approximately 5-7 minutes and include Neighbor, Rawlo, L0V3 S1R3N, Phazy Susan and — in some people — a pleasant euphoria.

This is one of many projects featuring Jasen Loveland aka Andrew Smith aka ∞ that IT will continue to release in honor and memory of him and his incredible and prophetic musical vision, showcasing his many Infinite Refractions. This project had begun years ago, and was finished with such care and precision by Patrick Russell that we are proud to release Pervocet 2 in sync with our annual No Way Back gathering in Detroit on May 29, 2023.

Another spring has sprung as we are back for the 62nd entry in our podcast series, this time with @Nemsb, a DJ and producer from Marseille. Deep and soft at first, this one gradually gives way to more intense, punchy and percussive rhythms. As everything around starts to flourish, dive into Nems-B's forest of sounds.

Born and raised in the south of France, Nahim Bendjilali or Nems-B has well over 20 years of experience in the electronic music scene. Whether it's DJing, music production, podcast curation or event promotion – he has seen the dance scene all around. With performances at @parallelfestival, @vurtkr, @tresorberlin, Gare Porto and others up his sleeve, Nems-B also has released music on @Oslated, Geometrika FM, and @on-board-music, to count a few.

With releases on labels like Planet Rhythm, Edit Select, and Illegal Alien, he's now pushing boundaries with new trance/psy sonorities.
