We seek You, dear Lord, out of our love for You,
We care for the longing in Your heart,
We pray for the day when the bride is prepared,
Make ready as Your counterpart.

We sing to You, Lord, with great joy in our heart,
We praise Your for Your will and Your ways,
Your timing is perfect, Your wisdom profound,
We live to You all of our days.

Rejoice and exult and give glory to Him,
By His grace we're growing in His life,
He beautifies us for His own deep delight,
We're hoping to soon be His wife.

Lord, build us as one to express You in full,
As we work on garments so bright,
Lord, train us to fight in the war with the foe,
As victorious ones in Your sight.

We're happy for You, Lord, our lovely Bridegroom,
We rejoice in this romance divine,
Awaiting the time when we hear You declare,
"This beautiful bride is now mine."
