Wilcoxia poselgeri can be found primarily in South and West Texas, as well as the adjoining Mexican state of Coahulia. Sometimes referred to as the “Lead Pencil Cactus” or “Dahlia Hedgehog Cactus” due to its slender stems and tuberous Dahlia-like root system, Wilcoxia poselgeri grows in the sandy soils of hills and valleys on either side of the Rio Grande. When in bloom Wilcoxia poselgeri produces large, moderately fragrant pink flowers that open during the day and close at night. Initially erect, Wilcoxia poselgeri gradually begins sprawling amongst its surroundings as it matures to support the growing weight of new stems. Regarded as a slow-growing yet uniquely beautiful specimen, Wilcoxia poselgeri’s relative ease of cultivation makes it a remarkable addition to any collection. 

Our botanists strive to source and produce high-quality specimens to enrich your mind as well as your ears. After many months in the field our team has returned with a diverse selection of sonic seedlings. Following a series of meticulous experiments in our research facility each seedling has been deemed safe for general propagation and cleared for release.

Each physical copy contains seeds of the namesake cactus (Wilcoxia poselgeri) along with instructions for growth & care.

The newly found record label Midnight Snacks combines the passion for electronic dance music and the rapture to transcend genre boundaries. In addition to serving musical bites, the Berlin snack crew has a high aesthetic and visual aspiration – and realizes its artistic visions in collaboration with illustrator Hans Berger.
With the announcement of "Movin’", the German-Jamaican producer and soul singer Tender Games ignites his new wave of releases. Even though this might sound a little corny and not that sexy: "Movin’" is a goddamn summer anthem! Ulrich Harrison alias Tender Games demonstrates nothing less than a symbiosis of funky grooves, silky rhodes and a lot of disco feeling. The title says it all: This tune makes you shake a leg! With its smooth breakdown and vibrant bassline, this track would surely also be to the liking of acts like Thundercat, Toro Y Moi, Late-70s-Herbie-Hancock or even Curtis Mayfield.
The main course comes along with spiced up side dishes by Black Loops and Marlon Hoffstadt. The Italian Deep House darling Riccardo alias Black Loops seasoned his remix with some laid back and cheerful summery breaks. This deep and soulful version gets you in the mood for this year’s open-air season.
Berlin’s nightlife connoisseur Marlon Hoffstadt takes you back to the 90s and rounds up the EP with a pumping but yet smooth and dreamy "Euromix". A seven and a half minutes long ride which keeps you, of course: movin’.

This musical mesh with the haunting name “Electric Mist” encompasses a broad spectrum of state of the art electronic productions. The symbiosis of individual tracks, through focused mixing to a single masterpiece takes you on an exciting and memorable journey. Stylistically we wander between several end members; from in-depth, quiet, almost drumless ambient pieces over dubby-warm compositions with forceful beats all the way to synthesizer-loaded tracks and their lovely melodies. Berlin-based Peer Du has crafted a dreamy, luxurious sound in recent years, which is no wonder why the Haŵs crew have summoned him to unite with their ever-budding family tree. The Welsh label and party-starters have been quietly watering their roots throughout the previous months, and with its latest re-potting for its fourth EP comes a provocative collection of tracks that slink outwards from the ether like a polychrome, sonic mosaic.

'For Those' conjures up the image of an ocean of twirling bodies moving as one upon a packed out dance-floor during the golden era of house music; Peer Du weaves a coquettish sample vocal from Shanice into the toggles of a rippling bassline, with the final result an instant classic for any deep house fanatic. 

The fourth release on Haŵs, simply put, is like watching an expert tailor nimbly thread the eye of a needle with a gossamer fibre before effortlessly combining together textures, colours and adornments without once making a wrong movement.

Premiere: Peer Du 'For Those'

Sense Traxx founder Simon Shaw returns to the label this July with the 'Music & Rhythm' EP, comprising three
originals from the UK artist.

The UK's Simon Shaw has been steadily establishing himself in the global house scene over the past few years,
initially making his mark with a series of events in the UK as Sense Traxx before going on to launch the label
and further developing his own and the labels classic meets contemporary house sound.

Opening the release is 'Yeaaahhhh!', a bumpy house cut fuelled by swinging snares, organic percussion and
choppy stab hits while soaring vocal swells, tension building pad sweeps and plucked synths ebb and flow
within. 'Jazz Flute' follows and as the name would suggest embraces a jazzy aesthetic courtesy of wind
melodies, atmospheric vocal recordings and soft Rhodes chords whilst stirring in a classic swung drum groove
and further house tropes in the form of square wave bass and gritty stabs.

Title-cut 'Music & Rhythm' then closes the package with a more groove-driven feel, laid out over seven minutes
with a robust rhythm, chopped vocal hit,s vacillating chord sequences and bright strings all subtly blooming
throughout.

Simon Shaw - Music & Rhythm (Edit)

Istanbul based producer and pioneer Hemi is ready to release his second new tune on Petra Recordings. Called "Excuse Me" it is another effective tune with its own sense of personality and a fine remix from, Tilman. 

Hemi has releases on Discotexas and NDYD Records and already cooperated with important names such as Kiwi, Kyodai and Nachtbraker and now shows off his energetic and atmospheric deep house style with plenty of strong form programming.

The original is a super cool deep house cut with lush pads and summery vibes, soulful vocals and a nice loose feeling that is filled with heart. It’s a track to get the whole crowd on side and dancing as one. German producer Tilman then remixes and flips it into something smoothed out and even deeper, with feel good grooves and nice cosmic synths all colouring the track.
