Social Phobia

This is a track I wrote about a month ago that I finally found the beat, tempo and mood that I've been searching for. I was so lucky to find Lilac Rust! Once I heard their music I felt an instant "click" and I knew we had to do just like peanut butter and chocolate and create our own version of a delicious peanut butter cup, audio version of course and I think it came out pretty tasty! Hope everyone else loves it too!

Silent Screams

A shadow cold, she draws near,
I feel the fear, so sharp and clear.
One step, one breath, a final glance,
darkness comes; I stand no chance.

Her silent grin, so pale and slight,
pulls me deeper into night.
Yet in my heart, a glimmer fights,
a spark of hope that clings to light.

She’s here, I sense her deadly will,
her footsteps echo, her shadow chills.
Faces fade, names slip away,
in her eyes, my ending stays.

I don’t want to go, not into her night,
my light, my life—she holds it tight.
A final scream, a silent pain,
will my light fade under her reign?
Please, set me free once more,
before I disappear evermore.

A quiet breath, so cold, so near,
her shadow falls, I feel the fear.
My laugh, my dreams—she takes them all,
and steals the warmth beyond recall.

She speaks not much, but in her gaze,
a power lives in silent ways.
I feel my time slip fast away,
my light fades, as she makes me pay.

I don’t want to go, not into her night,
my light, my life—she holds it tight.

Hi, my name is Davide... ;] 

I started composing music as a teenager on that fantastic machine that was the Amiga 600hd using Protracker... 

I've lived alone since I was 19, now I'm 46... 

I've always worked both musically and "normally" trying to make ends meet budget...

I love composing mostly instrumental songs with progressive overtones and predominantly dark harmony...



I'm just trying to live off my music in a country where the musician's work is hardly recognised...

Because I tried to sell these self-produced songs of mine, but being a complete unknown, nobody bought anything, so...
