Healing in Harmony is Make Music Matter's innovative music therapy program for survivors of sexual violence and other traumas, as well as those who care for them. Working in tandem with a trained therapist and music producer, participants begin the healing process by writing, recording and professionally producing songs about their emotions and experiences.

In collaboration with Warner Music Canada, songs are distributed on A4A Records to a global audience on all major streaming platforms. www.makemusicmatter.org

Make Music Matter's innovative music therapy program Healing in Harmony empowers participants in their process of healing. The program brings together trauma survivors with a trained psychologist and music producer to write, record, and professionally produce songs about their emotions and experiences.

The music is disseminated via local radio stations, community concerts, social media, and major streaming platforms through A4A Records, a partnership with Warner Music Canada. 

Artists become advocates as their music helps to combat stereotypes, stigma, and shame. Their songs become tools for education, and the restoration of a supportive healing community.
