I thought that an old friend was dying in the hospital.  Friends were warned that "he isn't doing well."  Fortunately, he made a full recovery, but I wrote this little requiem for him to give me something to do.

This a tribute to the great Jason Isbell, one of the best songwriters of out time.  He has written so many incredible songs that capture our feelings that  I can't think of anyone who has done as well.  Sue Jones sings harmony with me on this song.

The is a tribute to Blind Blake who wrote this song more than 100 years ago.  I wish he were around today so I could hear him play it.

I was so impressed with Eric Clapton's River of Tears that I made an instrumental version of the beginning of it.  Just an acoustic guitar playing the rhythm, an acoustic guitar playing the melody, and a bass.  I hope you like it.
