Close is a song about letting go of the desire for fame and success. Something that has driven me into a nasty state of mind and a depressing outlook on life over the years. 

Learning to create without restriction, and to lean into what it means for me to create has lead into a world of sonic wonder and a deeper exploration in my lyric writing.
