Rift valley fever story looks at the surveillance measures  the Kabale district. This follows the out break of the disease  that some people succumbed to it, living a few survivors to tell their stories.

YELLOW FEVER SURVEILLANCE STORY WAKISO DISTRICT BY NAMALOBA  (1)

This story was aired o 4th March 2022.
 The Story focused on the two districts of Northern n Uganda AMuru and Gulu that are part of the Acholi Region faced by an up-surge of Malaria cases.
  I believe this story qualifies for AMR award because I focus on the Resistance, Responses, Evidence limitations but also Solutions as a solution based story that is looking at reduction of Malaria prevalence in the region but also in the entire country.
   Additionally, the Malaria story  shows that Uganda is ranked 3rd globally with the disease burden accounting for about 11 million people and reports also indicate that Malaria alone claims about 15  and the Anti-Malaria drugs are becoming resistant to a number of patients.

It highlights the impact of Nodding Syndrome disease that was reported in some districts of Acholi sub-Region in Northern Uganda, how devastating the disease was at that time and management to contain the disease among the children between 3-18 years.
