This is a remix/cover whatever you want to call it, that we did for Randy Yasenchak of ELDER GEEK's 25 games for my son series, with the next episode focusing on none other than Chrono Trigger!

The whole album is.. mind blowing, honestly. I don't sing praises of remixes albums all that often, but this one has struck a chord with me, multiple times. I don't think I was as excited about a remix album since we worked on the FEZ Sides, so it'll be great to get these out. Big deal covering such iconic music, so I wanted to do a unique and appreciative spin on how it was done, hopefully people enjoy. If not, ENJOY ANYWAY!

Cataclysm (Chrono Trigger - Schala's Theme Remix)

Chronicles of Time is a fan album which features a wide range of Chrono Trigger arrangements spanning over five discs. It has plenty of genres and more than 200 artists, in which I also took part.

I contributed with my track "Melodía de la montaña", which was a hidden and unused track in the original Chrono Trigger. It eventually did make it in the DS version under the name "Singing Mountain". You can find my arrangement on the "Middle Ages" disc, track number 5!

"Terra's Theme" is the theme for my favorite Final Fantasy character, Terra Branford from Final Fantasy VI. For the holiday season, I decided to arrange it in a bit more of a wintry style, with the version from the game's iconic opening serving as the main inspiration. The Japanese lyrics came from Risa Ohki's beautiful version on the Final Fantasy Vocal Collections I: Pray album, known as "Wanderer of Time." I have another arrangement of Terra's Theme in the vault with original lyrics, too - I hope to finish that up and release it sometime next year, too. 

I sang, played the harp, hammered dulcimer, soprano recorder, and tambourine, and my husband contributed drums.
