Warmly embracing synth themes and pulsing, House-infused drums and strings are the protagonists in Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Yoram’s lush and expansive three-tracker for Kiosk ID no. 035. Enveloping the listener in waves of quivering warmth and string-crazed soulfulness, ‘Purpose’ explores life's big questions through the lens of dancefloor physicality.

Rolling through throbbing iterations of nuanced groove structures, ‘Purpose’ unfolds a tender melodic tapestry of morphing synth themes, shuddering tremolos, and nostalgic string patterns, artfully circling the warmly pulsing core of pure dancefloor emotion.

‘Does The Soul Exist’ carries a captivating sense of floor-focused monotony through stripped drum structures and melodic chord chop revolutions. Artfully layered bass stabs with beautifully warm chord components spiral into compressed explosions of raw and electric dancefloor energy.

Cycling through resonant square wave themes, bit-crushed blips and sweeps, and a soothing sea of hovering strings, ‘Warm Feelings’ emanates a beautiful brand of synth-crazed airiness with vivacious and playful undertones.

‘Purpose’ delivers a trio of unassuming dancefloor anthems that weave a vast field of warmly morphing synths embedded in a string-laden substructure. Housey in vibe and heady in spoken word subtext, ‘Purpose’ moves the heart and soul with a warm sense of blissful nostalgia.

Ahead of her March release on Kiosk ID, Berlin DJ and producer Britta Arnold showcases her vivacious dancefloor hypnotics with a pre-release remix drop. Together with New York-based composer, producer, and performer Justin Marchacos, Britta reimagines ‘Kaktus Rodeo’—title track of her forthcoming fourtracker—as a deep and throbbing dancefloor totem with searing hints of acid. MiZi MuZiK kicks oﬀ its catalog with a smashing all-female extravaganza. For MiZi TaPeS 001, Mira and Mila Stern present a floor-focused four-tracker comprising exclusively of collaborations with some of their closest friends: MANTi, Britta Arnold, and Niki Sadeki. Join us for a synth-heavy soirée
driven by a love for dancefloor hypnotism in all its iterations.

Mira and LA-based DJ and producer MANTi open MiZi’s discography with a radiant orchestra of swirling, bending, and arcing sawtooth chords. ‘Distance’ bridges the gap between their aesthetics, beautifully reimagining MANTi’s morphing melodics in the framework of Mira’s groovy, slow-burning
hypnotism.

On ‘Refract Glow,’ Mila Stern and New York-based DJ and producer Niki Sadeki fuse Niki’s dreamy, glinting Electronica with Mila’s biting edge. Their collaboration emerges darkly anthemic, with powerful, compact drum structures and pitch-bent salvos of incandescent synths that cut through the rolling gloom like blinding rays of light across a darkening sky. 

‘Cotton Brain’ conjures its namesake state of enveloping dancefloor abandon. A stripped and shoegazy groove, smatterings of whiplash drum hits, and an eerie field of spaced-out arps pulse across a quivering atmospheric void. With ‘Cotton Brain,’ Mira and Kater resident Britta Arnold strip away distractions until all that remains is a shuddering core of pure dancefloor energy.

Finally, Mila Stern and Mira artfully channel their ephemeral overlap into a dark, expansive, and compellingly catchy collaboration. Set to a rumbling beat, blippy percussion, and growling fields of saws, ‘The Ghost Between Us’ gradually builds and morphs, erupting into mangled sweeps and biting synth figures that infuse its shadowy mesmerism with powerful, spaced-out funkiness.

Dopo essere rimasto folgorato sin dai primi anni ’90 dall’atmosfera trasgressiva e dalle ritmiche frenetiche della mitica Sala 2 del Number One di Rovato, il locale dell’impossibile, spinto da un profondo desiderio di trasmettere le stesse emozioni attraverso la propria musica, nel 2007 Ivan B debutta come DJ al Cantiere Delirio, rinomato spazio autonomo milanese. Seguono, negli anni, locali altrettanto storici come Bolgia e Rocket, intervallati da altri numerosi party per i quali, oltre ad esibirsi come DJ, cura anche la parte organizzativa. Nel 2018 inizia la collaborazione con ODD (Organization Daylight Dancing) con la quale si esibisce a Masada, locale che più rispecchia la sua identità. Collabora inoltre con Hoover e MicroMusic Lisbona (PT).
Festaiolo di natura, prende la musica molto sul serio ed è sempre alla ricerca di nuovi paralleli sonori. I suoi set sono ricchi di storie e ricordi, figli di trent’anni trascorsi fra i dancefloor di tutto il mondo. La sperimentazione contraddistingue il suo gusto eclettico, che convoglia più generi - dall’electro all’italo disco fino alla techno - in una sinergia dove non mancano synth analogici, ritmi ipnotici e melodie coinvolgenti, cercando sempre di creare una connessione bidirezionale con il dancefloor.
