FLASH Recordings is the Berlin-based techno stable created by Florian Meindl that has featured artists like TWR72, Under Black Helmet, Jeroen Search, Stigmata, Flug, Lucy, and many more.

Italian producer and DJ, Salvatore Foglia, joins FLASH Recordings with a cutting four-track transmission of pure machine energy following appearances on Stanislav Tolkachev's RUDIMENT, Subsist, and Eclectic Digital Codec. Drawing from years behind the modular rig and the decks, Foglia crafts a sonic architecture where hypnotic synthesis collides with fractured rhythm.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Oscillatory Reminescents" with a sturdy thump and softly swelling bass groans. Its stripped back, tool-like style has skittering hi-hats flying over the delicate, modular riff which bends and circles back with more intensity for a mind-altering, purist groove.

Promising talent Diego Amura from Naples makes his debut on MindTrip after rising through the ranks with gigs alongside Ben Klock, Dax J, Rødhåd, Sleeparchive and Marcel Dettmann for example. Not only tipped for his DJ skills, his music has featured on ARTS, Planet Rhythm and Konsequent amongst others.

Supplying a blissful and brainteasing remix is none other than Jonas Kopp fresh from his latest album on his second album on the mighty Tresor.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the original and title track “Automa” that has already picked up a play from Ben Sims, but loved by Svreca, Inigo Kennedy and Luke Slater. The raw and gritty sounds are accompanied by hypnotic note stabs and drones that adds a sense of depth to the energetic, club sound.

The Nusery's second release of 2018 is a solo release by the hands of JC Laurent, a talented Frenchman who's been putting out top notch techno for the better part of a decade. 

Over that course of time, JC has developed a mature sound which is demonstrated fiercely on the EP's first track Dissonances. While thunderous kickdrums are making way for phasing synthesis, even the littlest of drum patterns are enough to keep tension sky high without exception. 

This formula is maintained throughout the tracks that follow. Whether it's the slightly dreamier Groom Lake, the tight sequences of the title track Soaring Over or the eerie, outer space vibe in Surveillance Plane: neither of them comprises anything more than that which is strictly necessary. And that is what makes Soaring Over EP the stellar piece of work that it is, four powerful cuts that are just waiting to make heads turn.
