Dragon Dreaming 2022 - this festival was the first party I ever attended many years ago, the first time I ever played a set completely made up of my own creations and a place that has shaped my life and sound in so many ways. Seeing it flying again after three long years on hiatus and being reunited with so many special people was an absolute treat. The lake was full, the skies were blue, the grass was green and there were smiles all around. This is a recording of the icing on the cake, being given the privilege of playing the closing set on the main stage was a real full circle moment for me, and one I will always cherish, so thank you to the organisers and everyone who was there for the whole weekend and made it so bloody special. DJ Aviva is a DJ project by Simon Weber, a musician and producer who covers many areas of electronic music. He is a member of the psytrance producers "Silent Sphere" and is associated with the largest psytrance label in the world. Now, he is launching his solo project in melodic progressive trance or melodic techno. His DJ sets are structured to steadily build up, featuring atmospheric and groovy sounds and beats with profound vocals. He deliberately distinguishes himself from the mainstream to cultivate his own dynamic fan base through music. Future releases will be found on Iboga Tech and other renowned labels. Dragon Dreaming Festival What an energy. Performing by the lake on a warm Spring afternoon was simply exhilerating. I curated a set of succulent daytime techno, comprising of whirling progressive tech, progressive house, minimal techno and even a couple of classics.
