everything i do

The song "uh oh" explores the end of a romantic relationship and the realization that the couple is not compatible.

In the verses, I address to my once loved partner, expressing that he no longer needs to lie because I am aware of the true intentions behind his actions. The line "I knew this would be it all along" shows that I had an inkling from the beginning that the relationship wouldn't work out. I admitted to staying in the hopes of their partner changing for the better, perhaps from making wrong choices to making right ones.

The chorus repeats the phrase "uh oh" as an expression of realization and finality. It indicates that I have made the decision to leave the relationship. The repetition emphasizes my determination to move on. The use of "baby" in the chorus could be seen as an affectionate term for my love intrest, highlighting the emotional weight of the decision.

In the second verse, I reflect on my own delusions, acknowledging that my desire for the relationship might have been in my head. I mention imagining being together intimately but conclude that the reality would have been chaotic. This realization leads to the understanding that me and my crush, are not well-suited as a romantic couple.

The bridge delves into the importance of preserving their friendship, despite the end of the romantic aspect of their relationship. I express a desire to maintain the friendship and laments the loss of romance. The phrase "romance is completely dead" suggests a feeling of disappointment or resignation towards the romantic connection. Ultimately, I reiterate my decision to move on.

Overall, "uh oh" delves into the recognition of a relationship's incompatibility and the subsequent decision to let go, highlighting the importance of friendship and accepting that romance may not always work out.

the demo version of 'Sick' from THIS IS ZEDNED: I SHOULD’VE KEPT THIS TO MYSELF. i found this while going through files and thought to myself why did i re-do the song as this version sounds ok but at the time it didn’t fit the vibe or the emotion i was expressing. i had a friend help with the backing vocals, that’s the first time i ever had someone else help me record something, i loved their vocals on this but the song needed a re-do.

Sick (Demo)

this is the demo version of ‘doyouremember' i originally was making it a guitar ballad rather than this upbeat synths tune. i kept the synth from the start as it sounded perfect and how i wanted to capture what i was trying to say. you can also notice that the high pitch “with you” was never featured in the demo version, i only added that last minute and i am relieved i did it sounds so bare without it. i very much enjoy the finished version that’s out everywhere but i wanted to share the original mix of this song!

doyouremember (Demo)

this was originally meant to be on my upcoming album but it didn’t make the cut, it didn’t fit within the tracklist it felt odd and i’m glad i scrapped it cause the album is amazing!!!

breathe u in (scrapped song)

this was meant to be apart of an entire project that i scrapped. it wasn’t going how i wanted and felt wrong at the time so i scrapped the entire project. this was going to be the lead single and the opening track off of the album. the album was going to be called 'LSD' (Loving Self Deprevation) at the time i was at a low point and enjoyed any way to make things worse for myself.

u & me (scrapped song)

made this today but it still needs a bit of work but wanted to share with everyone x
