A story of the many times, when I was young, I played on the tracks and around the railroad station of the Cold Spring Harbor area of Long Island New York. This piece was further produced with sound effects added after the live performance.

Avant Garde Melodic
A Sampler/Sequencer Backpack Rack-mount, and a midi keyboard controller.  The pitter-patter of the spider's legs, as the keyboard notes roll a European flavor.  A dramatic piece integrated with sarcasm and comedy.  Vocal Samples by Eddie Havoc of Mediacrime Glen Cove, New York.  Birds at the sea were sampled and sequenced separately.

Tarantula

Avant Garde Rhythmic.  
Quick Samples of the bands "Traffic," "Pink Floyd," "Jerry Garcia;" used as single notes and played on a keyboard; created the" Punk" metallic sound which reminds me of "Rock Lobster" somehow.  Before that, sampled sounds of insects and jungle backgrounds mixed as a collage to recreate a swamp.

I abused a bass guitar by pounding it with my fists and open palms like a bongo.  I played quiet ambient synthesizers and kept my vocals almost in the background.  I threw in some risque words about contraband.

Avant Garde These are samples clipped out of a recording of a prank call  to a clerk in a corporate position.  They were put together in a rhythmic collage.  The prank call fooled the clerk. He thought someone was dealing drugs through the company, when they were talking about a computer virus all along.
