We're excited to welcome back Georg, a DJ and artist who needs no introduction. His first appearance on our podcast was in 2022, and he also performed at one of our events last year. Now entering his 12th year in DJing, Georg has drawn inspiration from legendary artists like British-Canadian Richie Hawtin, who sparked his passion for getting behind the decks and exploring the music scene.

Reflecting on his journey, he shares how important track selection and reading the crowd are to his craft, emphasizing the need to adapt sets based on the energy of the moment.

A firm believer in humility, respect for the scene, and keeping egos in check, Georg stresses the importance of evolving his sets to build energy, leaving the dancefloor in a better state than when he started. Since his last interview, he’s learned the value of studio sessions, especially when collaborating with friends to jam or discuss the industry. Shoutout to his good friend Muski, who has been a massive influence in the Maltese scene.

Georg also admires his brother Damz, who’s played a huge role in helping him reach key milestones in his career. He’s keeping a close eye on rising local talent, Fresh Prince, who’s climbing the ranks in the Maltese DJ scene.

For Georg, the most rewarding part of being a DJ is seeing the unity on the dancefloor and the pure joy on people’s faces when he knows he’s delivered a perfect track. That moment of connection, even with just one person, makes it all worth it.
