Since originally learning to mix Drum and Bass 3 years ago, Eness has branched out across genres but remains focussed on the dark, futuristic, liquid minimal and melodic side of dnb. Eness now mixes solely on turntables and has a great appreciation for vinyl Djing.

PURE LIQUID Guest Mix 003: Event Horizon

Having blown onto the circuit in 2019, Morgs has been solidifying a reputation for being one of the finest DnB selectors in the South West. His position on the circuit has been further cemented by his work managing and promoting Hijacked Festival and Fokus in Exeter, supporting huge names for both brands and for the other major brands in the city such as Hazard, Enei, 1991, TC, Urbandawn, IMANU, Coco Bryce, Sammy Virji, Phibes and many others. He has recently taken on the record label side of South West Riddim, looking to bring through talented young producers in the region.

Usually renown for high energy, genre bending sets, his selection typically draws from all corners of jungle DnB music; from eastern European neurofunk to dancefloor driven jumpup. For this mix, Morgs has tapped into his deeper, more musically driven side with an hour of effortlessly melodic liquid infused with some tasty pseudo-jungle cuts. Having joined Hybrid Minds and Culture Shock on the main stage at Hijacked, and soon to support Break at the Symmetry Recordings night in Move, we’re very excited to have Morgs join us for our launch night on the 9th November.
