So ye I decided to just extract the original vocals with AI and use those. Doesn't mean I had it easy persay, but I figured I could get away with not having *everything* done wholly from scratch for once lol.
Anyhow, this track was easily the most COLOSSAL PAIN IN THE ASS TO TRANSCRIBE **EVER,** and the tempo is the sole factor responsible for it!! Took a TON of editing to get everything aligned, especially the vocals. Wound up being well worth the effort tho. From what I've been able to notice at least, no one has ever done a more orchestral version of this that's also tried to "play it straight," so to speak (as in just sticking to the length of the original song.) Was a very fun time figuring out how I wanted to do just that once the base transcription was done, and I'm very happy with the result. Hope you guys enjoy!
