The great escape when pencil, brush or chisel are in hand. Lifetimes of observations in a fleeting moment. Cassie felt this when seeing the endless paintings that swoosh in dreams, forgotten on the edge of waking. Creations lost to the decay of time, only to be remembered once again through foreshadow.

The Long Malaise

Like several songs in this series, this is an older song, written around 2014, that I have lost the ability to edit as the base tracks will no longer upload. I had lost sight of this song (forgotten it) and recently stumbled on the WAV file as I was organizing lists in iTunes.  Listening to it, I felt it worked well with the songs I have been putting out as part of The Sleepwalkers.  I wanted a chance for the song to be heard and so I have posted it.  I hope those of you who listen enjoy it.
