Recorded with my Zoom H4n, I forget the level it was at, besides I lowered it by maybe 15 or 20% during this recording.  I think I saw the little red light blinking, meaning peeking, so I adjusted it on the fly without taking note of the values, sorry.

Meet Mark Landry.  (I appologize for having changed the Title, his name.)

Mark now knows that some of his music is on Soundcloud, and I'm trying to help him out a little about access to all that stuff.  He's a swell guy.  I was supposed to meet him yesterday (2021/08/21) to record some more, but I had a previous engagement.  When I went to our aborted recording session yesterday he wasn't there.  I had to go.  We'll do some more in the near future.  He can now call me to let me know when he's about to go to play, so that I can get my recording gear and show up.

This is the sound of a man I have crossed many times in the past few years, playing the violin and signing, on the sidewalk somewhere in Hochelaga, a neighbourhood of Montreal.  This time I had my machine with me, so I asked him if I could record some more of what he was playing and he agreed.  We convened to meet him again the next day, but he didn't show.  He seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the prospect of having his songs on the Internet, and he seemed coherent enough to me.  I will run into him again, in the spring at the latest, and get all the info he wishes to share.  Bob is an American expatriate.

These are sounds made by the dehumidifier, recorded with a Zoom H4n, in the practice studio, in the Summer of 2010.

The only modifications of the sound I made were fade-ins and fade-outs, and normalisation at -0.5 dB.  The volumes were all relatively high before I normalised so very little was changed.

There is orange excrement in da House.  Can someone please go clean it up.  It is dangerous because it is fresh and quite slippery, and it smells bad.  My most sincere apologies to president Zelensky and to the Ukrainian people.  I am glad that he managed to avoid a fall.

No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
