We had an incredible time contributing a B2B set at Antidote's Love Motel on Feb 10th, 2024 in Nelson BC. The morning of the event we were given the unfortunate news that Hoola's Mother's partner of 15 years was in hospital and most likely not coming home. 

We embraced the LOVE theme to channel our thoughts and prayers towards him & mama Paine.

It was the perfect vibe with a wonderful cast of friends old and new to collectively send positive vibes towards his transition. 

He passed at 1:30pm Sunday afternoon. 

Thank you to our community for making the magic happen with us. We recorded this set in studio the next day and are dedicating it to:

Studio Pandora is a hybrid between an off- and online stage in TivoliVredenburg. In the former smoking area on the sixth floor podcasts about music are developed, DJs are given free reign and a stage is created for conversations about culture and/or Utrecht. Studio Pandora was created thanks to the experiences of TivoliVredenburg in recent times. A souvenir of the COVID era, which artist Dewy Elsinga has turned into a colourful and warm headquarter, by which we’d like to offer a kickstart to starting, experimenting and often local creatives.

Catxibi/Cativo is Luísa Cativo, a vital force in Portugal’s clubbing culture since 2012. As co-founder of the iconic Thug Unicorn parties, she helped inspire a generation of artists across Portugal with events rooted in community-driven and progressive ideals. Her impact extends back to 2011, collaborating with the groundbreaking GRRRL RIOT parties to spotlight female DJs in Porto, and continues through her work with the Coimbra-based collective Instrumental Violence since 2018. In 2023, she played a pivotal role in launching the Portuguese chapter of female:pressure, a global network committed to fostering ethics and sustainability in electronic music.  

Cativo’s commitment to underground music is further amplified through her collaborations with numerous collectives, blending diverse artistic approaches. Her work with the Rimas e Batidas platform includes the podcast Câmara Magmática, a project that underscores the transformative power of art and music in envisioning a better world. Alongside producer and DJ Assafrão, she co-hosts Fuinki, a monthly program on Rádio Quântica, combining her passion for music, club culture, and activism.  

Renowned for her eclectic and adventurous musical selections, Cativo seamlessly adapts to any setting, from intimate clubs to large-scale festivals. Her performances at venues and events like Lux Frágil, Outra Cena, Planeta Manas, Passos Manuel, Plano B, NOS Alive, Milhões de Festa, and Walk&Talk Azores deliver unexpected, genre-defying sets that captivate and inspire audiences.

We’re excited to introduce a new podcast by Monotonegative (@monotonegative), currently based in Nowhere. Born in Russia’s Ural region, he describes himself as a broken vase from a long-forgotten dynasty, patched up and filled with feminine juice.

As the mastermind and co-founder of @petlyaa, he became known for throwing wild parties and creating mix series. His work was featured in compilations by international counterculture figures like Meta Moto, Kontralomakina and Sonidos Subterraneos.

After serving time in a rough Russian prison for political reasons, he dropped a mix blended obscure electronics, harsh odd beats and stylish mutant rhythms with hints of Chicago sounds, and other shit that threw listeners into a leftfield auditory schizophrenia.

AM Hi is a DJ and a promoter, active on local and regional scenes in the past 7 years. His sets show his performative and dynamic character and intensity, led by emotions and sex-drive as an external stimulus. In 2019, he moved to Belgrade, where he became one of the SUTRA/СУТРА (@https://soundcloud.com/sutra_club) residents. This year he became a resident of the queer collective SLUTka.

No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
