The precise cuts advocate an intrinsic and unconscious aesthetic.

All tracks are taken from two live performances issued on different projects. This EP represents the death of these performances sacrificed for a new form of expression born from the physical and mental experience but also individual and collective. Its aim is to contribute, to integrate, to evolve objects creating others ready for a new process.

Moving safely from rock to rock or location to location is a major challenge because of the communication time delay between Earth and Mars, which is about 20 minutes on average. Unlike a remote controlled car, the drivers of rovers on Mars cannot instantly see what is happening to a rover at any given moment and they cannot send quick commands to prevent the rover from running into a rock or falling off of a cliff.

Exhausted Modern - Hard Working Rats (NVST Hifive Remix)

Shibuya-based British DJ/producer Nepotek releases the ‘Magenta’ EP on his Plus Future Records label with three stripped-back original cuts and a remix from France’s Alexkid.



Splitting his time between Japan and the UK (pre-pandemic), Nepotek has performed at fabric, Lion & Lamb, and Zubar, as well as appearances for Hoxton FM, Bloop London Radio and Noods Radio. After many years spent in the DJ booth and in the studio, he now helms his own label, Plus Future Records: a platform for artists to produce sounds outside of their comfort zones.



With its precision kicks and syncopated snares, ‘Spiral’ is a dub-based and mesmerising cut designed for the after-hours courtesy of subterranean melodies, purring subbass and Spaghetti western movie atmospherics. In his ‘Magenta’ remix, Alexkid adds a little more shuffle and swing to Nepotek’s murky original, as glitchy arpeggios join dubby stabs and echoing basslines. Paying homage to the fantastic legacy of West Indian artists, ‘Dub’ is a deep and introspective number that incorporates striking 1970s dub vocal samples, tech house beats, quivering delayed synths and reverberating effects.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access. You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
