25. Surah Al Furqan (The Criterion)
Name

The Surah takes its name "Al-Furqan" from the first verse. Though it is symbolic like the names of many other Surahs, it has a close relation to its subject matter.
Period of Revelation

It appears from its style and subject matter that, like Surah Al- Mu'minun, it was also revealed during the third stage of Prophethood at Makkah. Ibn Jarir and Imam Razi have cited a tradition of Dahhak bin Muzahim that this Surah was revealed eight years before Surah An Nisa. This also confirms our opinion as to its period of revelation. (Ibn Jarir, Vol. XIX, pp. 28-30, and Tafsir Kabir, Vol. VI,p. 358).
Subject Matter and Topics

The Surah deals with the doubts and objections that were being raised against the Qur'an, the Prophethood of Muhammad (Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and his teachings by the disbelievers of Makkah. Appropriate answers to each and every objection have been given and the people have been warned of the consequences of rejecting the Truth. At the end of the Surah, a clear picture of the moral superiority of the Believers has been depicted as in the beginning of Surah Al-Mu'minun, as if to say, 'Here is the criterion for distinguishing the genuine from the counterfeit. This is the noble character of those people who have believed in and followed the teachings of the Holy Prophet and this is the kind of people that he is trying to train. You may yourselves compare and contrast this type of people with those Arabs, who have not as yet accepted the Message, and who are upholding "ignorance" and exerting their utmost to defeat the Truth. Now you may judge for yourselves as to which you would like to choose." 

[61-62] Highly blessed is He, Who has made fortified spheres75 in the heavens and has set in it a "lamp"76 and a shining moon. He it is Who caused the night and the day to succeed each other so that everyone who desires may learn a lesson or become grateful.

[63-73] The (true) servants of the Merciful are those78 who walk humbly on the earth79 who, when the ignorant people behave insolently towards them, say,"Peace to you"80 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord81 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: it is an evil abode and an evil resting place"82 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes):83 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery.84 He who does this shall be punished for his sin, and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection,85 and he shall abide in a state of ignominy, except the one who may have repented (after those sins) and have believed and done righteous works,86 for then Allah will change his evil deeds into good deeds, and He is very Forgiving and Merciful. In fact, the one87 who repents and does righteous deeds, returns to Allah as one rightly should.88 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood89 and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people90 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition.

[74-76] Those who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes,92 and make us leaders of the righteous."93 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,94 95 wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honor and salutations and wherein they will live for ever: what an excellent abode and what an excellent resting place!

[77] O, Muhammad, tell the people, "My Lord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him.96 Now that you have denied (His Revelations), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid."

Surah Al-Anfal  V(15 - 16)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ زَحْفًۭا فَلَا تُوَلُّوهُمُ ٱلْأَدْبَارَ ﴿١٥﴾ وَمَن يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ دُبُرَهُۥٓ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفًۭا لِّقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٍۢ فَقَدْ بَآءَ بِغَضَبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَأْوَىٰهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ﴿١٦﴾

O you who have believed, when you meet those who disbelieve advancing [for battle], do not turn to them your backs [in flight]. (15) And whoever turns his back to them on such a day, unless swerving [as a strategy] for war or joining [another] company, has certainly returned with anger [upon him] from Allah, and his refuge is Hell - and wretched is the destination. (16)

شرح الكلمات:

زحفاً: أي زاحفين لكثرتهم ولبطىء سيرهم كأنهم يزحفون على الأرض.

فلا تولوهم الأدبار: أي لا تنهزموا فتفروا أمامهم فتولونهم أدباركم.

متحرفاً لقتال: أي مائلاً من جهة إلى أخرى ليتمكن من ضرب العدو وقتاله.

أو متحيزاً إلى فئة: أي يريد الانحياز إلى جماعة من المؤمنين تقاتل.

فقد باء بغضب: أي رجع من المعركة مصحوباً بغضب من الله تعالى لمعصيته إياه.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَـٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍۢ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ ﴿٤٢﴾ مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِى رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ ۖ وَأَفْـِٔدَتُهُمْ هَوَآءٌۭ ﴿٤٣﴾ وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَ ۗ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوٓا۟ أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍۢ ﴿٤٤﴾ وَسَكَنتُمْ فِى مَسَـٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَيْفَ فَعَلْنَا بِهِمْ وَضَرَبْنَا لَكُمُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ ﴿٤٥﴾ وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ ٱلْجِبَالُ ﴿٤٦﴾ فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌۭ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍۢ ﴿٤٧﴾


﻿بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]. (42) Racing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts are void. (43) And, [O Muhammad], warn the people of a Day when the punishment will come to them and those who did wrong will say, "Our Lord, delay us for a short term; we will answer Your call and follow the messengers." [But it will be said], "Had you not sworn, before, that for you there would be no cessation? (44) And you lived among the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it had become clear to you how We dealt with them. And We presented for you [many] examples." (45) And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains. (46) So never think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution. (47)

شرح الكلمات:
عما يعمل الظالمون: أي المشركون من أهل مكة وغيرهم.

ليوم تشخص فيه الأبصار: أي تنفتح فلا تغمض لشدة ما ترى من الأهوال.

مهطعين مقنعي رؤوسهم: أي مسرعين إلى الداعي الذي دعاهم إلى الحشر، رافعي رؤوسهم.

وأفئدتهم هواء: أي فارغة من العقل لشدة الخوف والفزع.

نجب دعوتك: أي على لسان رسولك فنعبدك ونوحدك ونتبع الرسل.

ما لكم من زوال: أي عن الدنيا إلى الآخرة.

وقد مكروا مكرهم: أي مكرت قريش بالنبي ﷺ حيث أرادوا قتله أو حبسه أو نفيه.

وإن كان مكرهم لتزول منه الجبال: أي لم يكن مكرهم بالذي تزول منه الجبال فإنه تافه لا قيمة له فلا تعبأ به ولا تلتفت إليه.

إن الله عزيز: أي غالب لا يحال بينه وبين مراده بحال من الأحوال.

ذو انتقام: أي صاحب انتقام ممن عصاه وعصى رسوله.


* العمل بالآيات

١- أرسل رسالة تنذر فيها من عذاب الله، وشدة غضبه سبحانه، ﴿وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ﴾

٢- استعذ بالله من مكر الظالمين، وقل: «اللهم إنا ندرأ بك في نحورهم، ونعوذ بك من شرورهم»، وقل: «اللهم امكر لنا، ولا تمكر علينا», ﴿وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ ٱلْجِبَالُ﴾

٣- تأمل قصة أي ظالم ذكرت في القرآن، وكيف خطط لحرب دين الله، ثم تأمل كيف كانت نهايته، ﴿وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ ٱلْجِبَالُ﴾

﻿بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

نَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٣﴾ إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًۭا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَآئِفَةًۭ مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ ﴿٤﴾ وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ ٱلْوَ ٰرِثِينَ ﴿٥﴾ وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَحْذَرُونَ ﴿٦﴾

We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe.(3) Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters.(4) And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors. (5) And establish them in the land and show Pharaoh and [his minister] Haman and their soldiers through them that which they had feared.(6)

شرح الكلمات:

نتلو عليك: أي نقرأ عليك قاصين شيئاً من نبأ موسى وفرعون أي من خبرهما.

لقوم يؤمنون: أي لأجل المؤمنين ليزدادوا إيماناً ويوقنوا بالنصر وحسن العاقبة.

علا في الأرض: أي تكبر وظلم فادعى الربوبية وظلم بني إسرائيل ظلماً فظيعاً.

شيعاً: أي طوائف بعضهم عدوّ لبعض من باب فَرِّق تَسُدْ.

ويستحي نساءهم: أي يبقي على النساء لا يذبح البنات لأنه لا يخاف منهن ويذبح الأولاد لخوفه مستقبلاً على ملكه منهم.

ونريد أن نمن: أي ننعم على الذين استضعفوا فنجعلهم أئمة ونجعلهم الوارثين.

ما كانوا يحذرون: من المولود الذي يولد في بني إسرائيل ويذهب بملكهم.

من سنن الله سبحانه أن يهلك الظالمين إذا تعالوا على المصلحين، أو فرقوا كلمتهم، أو سعوا في إضعافهم أو قتلهم، ﴿إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَآئِفَةً مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ﴾

One of the laws of Allah Almighty is that He destroys the oppressors if they arrogantly attack the reformers, divide their word, or seek to weaken or kill them.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ ﴿١١٩﴾ مَا كَانَ لِأَهْلِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ أَن يَتَخَلَّفُوا۟ عَن رَّسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَرْغَبُوا۟ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ ۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ لَا يُصِيبُهُمْ ظَمَأٌۭ وَلَا نَصَبٌۭ وَلَا مَخْمَصَةٌۭ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَطَـُٔونَ مَوْطِئًۭا يَغِيظُ ٱلْكُفَّارَ وَلَا يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّۢ نَّيْلًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُم بِهِۦ عَمَلٌۭ صَـٰلِحٌ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿١٢٠﴾ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ نَفَقَةًۭ صَغِيرَةًۭ وَلَا كَبِيرَةًۭ وَلَا يَقْطَعُونَ وَادِيًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٢١﴾

O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true. (119) It was not [proper] for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good. (120) Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing. (121) 


شرح الكلمات:

الصادقين: في نياتهم وأقوالهم وأعمالهم والصدق ضد الكذب.

ومن حولهم من الأعراب: وهم مزينة وجهينة وأشجع وغفار وأسلم.

ولا يرغبوا بأنفسهم عن نفسه: أي يطلبون لأنفسهم الراحة ولنفس رسول الله التعب والمشقة.

ظمأ: أي عطش.

ولا نصب: أي ولا تعب.

ولا مخمصة: أي مجاعة شديدة.

يغيظ الكفار: أي يصيبهم بغيظ في نفوسهم يحزنهم.

نيلا: أي منالاً من أسر أو قتل أو هزيمة للعدو.

وادياً: الوادي: سيل الماء بين جبلين أو مرتفعين.

Surah At- Tawbah V(38 - 39)

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا مِنَ ٱلْآخِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فِى ٱلْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ ﴿٣٨﴾ إِلَّا تَنفِرُوا۟ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْـًۭٔا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ ﴿٣٩﴾

O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little. (38) If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent. (39)


شرح الكلمات:

مالكم؟: أي أي شيء ثبت لكم من الأعذار.

انفروا: أي اخرجوا مستعجلين مندفعين.

اثاقلتم: أي تباطأتم كأنكم تحملون أثقالاً.


* الوقفات التدبرية

١- ﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا مِنَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ﴾ 

عاتبهم الله على إيثار الراحة في الدنيا على الراحة في الآخرة؛ إذ لا تنال راحة الآخرة إلا بنصب الدنيا . [القرطبي:١٠/٢٠٨]

٢- اعلم أن من سنة الله تعالى في خلقه الاستبدال؛ فمن بدل وضيع أذهبه الله وأتى بخير منه، ﴿وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْـًٔا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾

٣- تذكر أسماء ثلاث دول أو أمم استبدل الله بها غيرها لما استبدلوا بشرع الله هوى أنفسهم، ثم استعذ برضى الله من سخطه، وبمعافاته من عقوبته، ومن تحول عافيته وفجاءة نقمته، ﴿وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْـًٔا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾

إِلَّا تَنصُرُوهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِذْ أَخْرَجَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ثَانِىَ ٱثْنَيْنِ إِذْ هُمَا فِى ٱلْغَارِ إِذْ يَقُولُ لِصَـٰحِبِهِۦ لَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَا ۖ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ وَأَيَّدَهُۥ بِجُنُودٍۢ لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ ۗ وَكَلِمَةُ ٱللَّهِ هِىَ ٱلْعُلْيَا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ ﴿٤٠﴾

If you do not aid the Prophet - Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us." And Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah - that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. (40) 

شرح الكلمات:

إلا تنصروه: أي الرسول محمد ﷺ.

ثاني اثنين: أي هو وأبو بكر رضي الله عنه.

في الغار: غار ثور أي في جبل يقال له ثور بمكة.

لصاحبه: هو أبو بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه.

سكينتهُ: أي طمأنينته.

كلمة الذين كفروا: هي الدعوة إلى الشرك.

السفلى: أي مغلوبة هابطة لا يسمع لها صوت.

وكلمة الله هي العليا: أي دعوة التوحيد (لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله) هي العليا الغالبة الظاهرة.

* الوقفات التدبرية

هذا إعلام من الله -عز وجل- أنه المتكفل بنصر رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وإعزاز دينه؛ أعانوه، أو لم يعينوه، وأنه قد نصره عند قلة الأولياء، وكثرة الأعداء، فكيف به اليوم وهو في كثرة من العدد والعُدد. [البغوي:٢/٢٨٢]

This is a message from Allah Almighty that He is responsible for the victory of His Messenger PBUH, and the strengthening of his religion.  They helped him or did not help him, and he supported him when there were few companions and many enemies.

دين الله هو الظاهر العالي على سائر الأديان بالحجج الواضحة، والآيات الباهرة، والسلطان الناصر. [السعدي:٣٣٨]

﻿بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًۭا مُّبِينًۭا ﴿١﴾ لِّيَغْفِرَ لَكَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذَنۢبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكَ وَيَهْدِيَكَ صِرَ ٰطًۭا مُّسْتَقِيمًۭا ﴿٢﴾ وَيَنصُرَكَ ٱللَّهُ نَصْرًا عَزِيزًا ﴿٣﴾ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنًۭا مَّعَ إِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًۭا ﴿٤﴾

Indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest (1) That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path (2) And [that] Allah may aid you with a mighty victory. (3) It is He who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers that they would increase in faith along with their [present] faith. And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth, and ever is Allah Knowing and Wise. (4) 

شرح الكلمات:

إنا فتحنا لك فتحا مبينا: أي قضينا لك بفتح مكة وغيرها عُنوة بجهادك فتحا ظاهرا بيّنا.

ليغفر لك الله: أي بسبب شكرك له وجهادك في سبيله.

ما تقدم من ذنبك وما تأخر: أي ما تقدم الفتح وما تأخر عنه.

ويتم نعمته عليك: أي بنصرك على أعدائك وإظهار دينك ورفع ذكرك.

ويهديك صراطا مستقيما: ويرشدك طريقا من الدين لا اعوجاج فيه يُفضي بك إلى رضوان ربك.

وينصرك الله نصرا عزيزا: أي وينصرك الله على أعدائك ومن ناوأك نصرا عزيزا لا يغلبه غالب، ولا يدفعه دافع.

أنزل السكينة في قلوب	المؤمنين: أي الطمأنينة بعد ما أصابهم من الاضطراب والقلق من جراء الصلح.

وكان الله عليما حكيما: أي عليما بخلقه حكيما في تدبيره لأوليائه.

1991     Under the guidance and tutelage of many Shaykhs and after ten years of study, Iraq, obtained the following certifications:

·       Certification in Quranic  Sciences:  in reading and teaching the Quran rules  (Tajweed)

·       Certification for the Narration of the Hadiths of the Holy Prophet  Muhammed (PBUH)

1994     Under the Tutelage and guidance of Sh. Mohssen Saeed Sahata obtained the following certification.

·       Certification in reading and teaching in 10 different recitations of Quran

·       Certification to lead prayer and call the  Athan

My duties as the Imam at the Monash University Mosque, I have initiated various projects: such as interfaith dialogue, Islamic teaching,

·       Lead the daily five time prayers and also conduct and  sometimes give the Jummah Sermons

·       Conduct Tharaweeh Prayers in the month of fasting (Ramadan) in various Mosques in Melbourne

·       Classes in Arabic and Quran recital after Fajr and Maghrib prayers

·       Online classes for brothers and sisters in the recitation of Quran

·       Qiraath classes for those wanting to memorise the Quran in the 10 different styles

·       Over the last 6 years I have taught and trained over 50 brothers and sisters and have awarded them certification in Quran recital (Tajweed) and Memorisation of the Holy Quran. Some of these students now teach others in Quran recitation and have won
Quirath competitions.
