The Night is a record capturing the feelings between two people every time they go through the motions of an argument. The song encapsulates the stages of the argument throughout the night, ending with both people putting aside their stubbornness and realising that they will always get through it.

’'The Night' is all about two people in a relationship putting aside their differences and making up after an argument; and the song follows this throughout the course a night.

We wrote this song just before summer, capturing that care free vibe.

Fork in the Road is about a difference in opinions between two individuals, often leading to arguments and parting of ways. Sometimes people have to face a fork in the road and take alternative routes in life to be happy. The song originally inspired after watching the hit series Peaky Binders and adopted slightly menacing lyrics in the verses. The soft pop-rock sound was inspired by the sound of the featured artists 'Riddle', completing the track with an electric guitar solo.

SLICK DIVISION, brothers Jonny and Josh Cooper, are an independent British electro pop duo from East Anglia, UK. 

Taking influence from artists such as Nightly, Lauv, Jeremy Zucker and Loote, SLICK DIVISION released their debut independent single Different Paradise in July 2020. The record smashed personal goals with its success, landing placements with huge curators such as Filtr, as well as being aired on the BBC Introducing programme with interviews about the record.

SLICK DIVISION’s next single Runaway Love (January 2021) instantly captivated followers with its modern production and fresh pop vocals. It soon received endorsement from tastemakers such as Filtr and multiple record labels. Other support included blogs and magazines describing the record as having an ‘infectious vibe and vocal’.

The brothers returned in July 2021 with The Night; a catchy chill pop song with silky vocals and a powerful production. Signed with record label 'So, Let's Talk' the single received instant support from the BBC’s introducing programme, later landing brand support featuring on The Co-op Edit in store radio, played in over 2,500 stores nationwide.

SLICK DIVISION are kicking off 2022 with 'Landline'. A nostalgic pop record about being young in the 90’s/2000’s, ringing the person you love on the landline phone and talking all night. It received immediate BBC radio support, being aired on the introducing programme on the run up to its release.
