Spartaque's upcoming mini album, "Cross The Line" is set to release on May the 19th, 2023 on his own CODEX label.
It is a bold statement in the ever-evolving world of techno music, featuring five eclectic tracks that blur the lines between peak time techno and hard techno. The title track serves as a personal anthem for Spartaque as he takes a bold step into a new genre. “Strays (Life in Wartime remix)” reworks the original mix, that appeared on dutch-canadian electronic music producer apaull’s December 2023 debut album, Fought & Won. This 8-track debut LP was executive produced by Abe Duque and is on the furnace room records label. This track started off as a mix created by apaull for use in his DJ sets and has now been produced as its own standalone remix track.

This track explores the proliferation of war, in the Middle East and Europe, that we now find ourselves in and offers dated but still applicable (diplomatic) solutions including : “We need to negotiate, not as victims.” 

Musically, in addition to pervading vocal samples, the track has been shortened, from the original mix, and new drum and percussion features have been added to add some groove and danceable energy.

The cover painting is by Paul van der Werf (i.e., apaull). The cover “Strays” lettering is by famed Brooklyn based artist Al Diaz (bio below). Al was selected because of his unique art and as an ode to counterculture and what should be its confluence with art. “Al Díaz's career spans five decades. At 15 he was the recognized subway graffiti artist known as "BOMB-ONE." His friendship and collaboration with schoolmate Jean-Michel Basquiat on SAMO®... (an Avant-garde graffiti project), and the iconic hip-hop record, "Beat Bop" are noted in contemporary art history. His mixed media work is shown and collected internationally. “

The Italian dj-producer Pietro Berti aka DJ Outwork; influenced by italo disco records, his unique electro sound has conquered the dancefloors and the club charts all over the Europe. Both under his own name and under different pseudonymous he has released famous remixes such as 'Summer Jam' for Underdog Project and 'Soul Sister Soul Brothers' for Duke and recently remixes for Rivera Project 'Some kind of heaven' and DB Boulevard. Italian testimonial for Pioneer Pro Dj since 1994, Pietro Berti has a deep musical background due to his long experience in touring around the Italian country. 'Elektro' is the hit released by Outwork featuring Mr Gee aka Glen White, the famous singer who started his musical career in the 80's, with the Heart and Soul band first and the Soul Fishers then. When he arrived to Italy he joined also the Kano band. Outwork feat. Mr Gee 'Elektro', originally released in 3 different versions, is actually played by superstar dj's like Bob Sinclar, Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo, while Robbie Rivera did the remix and licences it exclusively for the USA on Juicy Music label. The track, published by Cantastorie/Sym Music Srl, has already been licensed in USA, Canada, Brasil, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Australia, Israel.
