Dying to Live

I wrote the song after overhearing a conversation about what people think they would do if they were told they only had a few years left to live. I was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer in May 2020 at the age of 41. I have realised that the most important thing to me is to spend time with the people I love. This song is inspired by the things I love to do with my nephews, as they bring me such joy.

The One Thing I Would Do

I have stage 4 breast cancer and quite often people don't believe me when I tell them that I'm great. We have all have a personal scale of really bad to really great, and having cancer does not change that. Whilst living with cancer I often feel great, so when you ask me and I say that I am great - I actually mean it.
