Love the groove and the building of tension, but seems unfinished. And those lead sounds are pretty jarring ;)

I agree would be great to hear more developed version - tons of potiential, good work!

Really wish that had been developed a bit more.  Potential for a really great track here. Quite good as is.

Important Note: Please Use Headphones and please DON'T TURN UP VOLUME too loud!

It has been handcrafted with the VST plug-in "Lord of the Springs" as only Synth and features the #Oculus 3D spatialization VST plug-in to move the sounds around in space. Of course a lot of other FX plug-ins have been used apart from those two.
Both the - to some extent - weird (= unusual in a positive sense ;-) synth and the spatialization plug-in placed some challenge to sound design and mixing, but I actually love the result pretty much. Hope you can enjoy the ride too.

- only native effects of Live (mainly Utility, EQ8 and Glue Compressor)

Short sketch for KVR's one synth challenge using Soundemote's impressively twisted Spiral Generator. Mix is mostly gravel. Mind the stolen Reznor motifs*, they're edgy.

Spiral Generator synth for all sounds, in Ableton Live with DAW and free FX

Created for the One-Synth-Challenge #101 from www://kvraudio.com
Only sound source used: Spiral VST by Soundemote.
DAW: Ableton Live 9 (32 bit version).
Effects used: Ableton Live's Simple Delay, Reverb (chorus, etc switched off) and Amp. Glaceverb, TAL-Tube.
The drum sounds where created in Spiral on a separate proj file, saved onto wav files which where then used on the proj for CPU efficiency.

The synth has a very digital and raw sound. As much as possible I have tried to preserve that and make it the character of the track. Hope to have achieved that in a musical way.
