Any artist is welcome to send us a track via freshonthenet.co.uk anytime between Monday lunchtime and Thursday morning (or when we receive 200 submissions, whichever is sooner) - and all our moderators, including Tom Robinson, will listen to every track. If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud GO tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which will be invisible to everyone. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks that have been previously submitted and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

We are Black Knight Satellite A four piece rock band from Birmingham. Organic waves, distorted guitars, pounding rhythms and bountiful vocals. NOW more than anytime in history, is the time to Question everything?! Musically influenced by Black Sabbath Pink Floyd and The Doors lyrically influenced by the never ending loop of life, how it sometimes feels like you choose your own personal free range prison, even more so with the current lock down situation. A slice of dream-pop electronica, a story of passionate lovers and a sea passage take place on a Saturday night. Waves of rolling piano and shimmering siren harmonies surround us as we board into the storm. Phoebe Coco draws us close to see the seascape between the lovers; crashing waves, glimpses of treasure and descending moments of bliss. Featuring the harmonies of her twin sisters, Grace and Dorothy, backed by arpeggiated bass, drum machines, shakers and melodicas it is framed by Phoebe’s signature piano and dreamy vocals.

 Out on the 9th of March on Sharp Attack Records, and also featuring on the anticipated forthcoming debut album from Phoebe Coco, it is co-produced by Phoebe Coco with Marc Makavov and Vanessa Anne Redd and mixed by Grammy Award winning Eduardo De Le Paz.

I'm honored to be a part of this collaboration with STEZZY Studios and Tony Tran. I've been a huge fan of both of these giants over the years so it's truly a dream to work with them! The challenge was to make an original track to a Tony Tran's choreography. To be honest it was harder than I anticipated, but once it started flowing the song came together beautifully.

The lyrics were inspired by Tony's movement and the fires that were tearing up the West Coast a couple weeks ago when I was writing this. The whole country feels more tense than it ever has been as we come closer to the election. People seem more hopeless than ever with this year not seeming to let anyone breathe.

I hope you love the song and it resonates with you. And again, HUGE thank you to STEEZY and Tony Tran for having me on this amazing project. Without Tony's movement, this song wouldn't exist.
