This is the first song on my "summer of love" tribute cd, "Just Imagine." I fell in love with the music  of that era over 10 years ago while in high school, so I wanted to show my appreciation at the 50 year anniversary. 

This is a sort-of rendition of "Strawberry Fields Forever" but only uses the first phrase in the verse. It is one of my all-time favorite songs, so I wanted to show some appreciation.

Just Imagine

Let Me Take You Down

This is the second track on the cd, called "Roll Out Sun." It has a bit of a Gospel/Blues feel to it but definitely an edge of old Rock & Roll. I feel like this might actually be a song Jack White would've done on "Get Behind Me Satan."

Roll out Sun

This is the third track on the cd, "Just Imagine." It is probably the most psychedelic popish song on the cd. I really love the trumpets on this song as well as the various instruments going on. I would consider this my most "Beatle-esque" song as well.

Imagination's Running Wild

This is the 5th and last track on the cd. This song reminds of some of those ballads you would hear in the late 1960's and early 70's. It's also the only song on the cd that I specially wrote for one person who was having a hard time.

Meet Us On That Road

This is the fourth track on the cd "Just Imagine." It is a quirky little fun song with somewhat not-so-fun lyrics. It is about a lady who realizes she has a tumor in her ear, which allows her to hear music...but it also negatively affects her life. I wrote this song while taking a walk and stumbling across a hospital band which had the name "Carolina Rogers" on it...so i'm pretty sure this person actually exists...I just hope she didn't actually have a tumor in her ear...enjoy
