I may even like this more than the original! just love the ethereal feel of it all, I like the slightly different rhythm of this one, the subtle brush touches, and your harmonica is gorgeous. This song is a bit campy. The core of this thing is pure Isley Brothers' formula from the 70s -- they had these no nonsense, hard slamming funk songs that just went on forever (and you want them to). And there's also a healthy dose of 80s/90s slinky funk guilty pleasures like Grace Jones, Sade, & Seal.

Hello everyone, 
Sometimes things happen in life that we never expected. 
When David Dunham asked me if I would orchestrate and sing his song “Faithful and True,” Of all people, I couldn't understand why he was asking me. I was surprised – and deeply honored. He wrote this song many years ago.

This song tells a story that probably affects us all in one way or another: the question of whether love will endure when life challenges us. It speaks of longing, of the inner struggle between desire and responsibility - and of the strength to remain faithful despite everything.

I delved into this song and tried to design it musically so that its message reaches exactly where it belongs - directly into the heart. “Faithful and True” is not a typical love song, but rather a reflection on love in all its facets: beautiful, painful, deep...

There are people who change their mood a lot of times in the course of a day. I know several of them (and I'm not talking about me!) ...  

I could have arranged the parts better and tried different solutions, but I am beginning to feel a certain musical tiredness. So I leave the track as it is, maybe in a few years I will try again.

Here's another love related ballad that I wrote in 2006, around the time when I married my wonderful wife and my best friend Anita!! The lyrics are about how seldom my beautiful wife wears blue, which is my favorite color, but she looks great in all colors! It's another love ballad that wasn't recorded so well, I still had my old 8-track Tascam back then and I think it could have been mixed a whole lot better. I was still tinkering and getting used to the recorder! Charlie sang it perfectly and I double tracked his vocals, he also added some harmonica on the track as well. The video I put together last month and I threw in a lot of eye-candy and special effects at it to enhance it!

 I had forgotten about this song but when I was producing the video for "She Rescues Me" I noticed the song on the CD and did a video for it too! The melody is nice and the lyrics are sweet and it flows ok. Not my best song but it ain't my worst either!
