For L/B016 Austrian composer Aleksandar Kos aka Synthakt has done it again with 2 pieces that show his art of production. We are putting an emphasis on ‘composer’ as by now you have probably heard his “Memento Mori Ep” and it’s title song. For the A side he brings you the truly skullstepian “Desert Sun” which has been destroying opera houses all over europe. The flip “Prodia” is more waltz oriented with a triple grid that will not allow you to stand still for a nanosecond!

Straight out of the Czech Republic Forbidden Society returns with a roaring EP of turbo-charged drum & bass that follows a brief hiatus since his juggernaut ‘Thronecrusher’ LP of early 2015. Three tracks of blistering tech-infused madness, hold on tight!

“I am an open-minded person and I just love music in general – good music, from D&B, electro, techno, metal, punk – it just needs to have energy and drive for me. When I was young I listened to lots of punk and metal until a friend played me a tape with some early rave on it. After that I began to DJ with vinyl at underground raves and squat parties around CZ. When I first started producing my own tracks I was into digital hardcore, but I got really excited when I discovered drum & bass producers like Ed Rush and Technical Itch. The sound they were pioneering was incredible and I became more and more interested in making my own take on it.”

“After a year and half since my ‘Thronecrusher LP’ hit I’m so happy to present my brand new 3-track ‘Punk & Rust’ EP on my own Forbidden Society Recordings. The tunes are inspired by my love of early hip-hop and punk, really heavy. Maybe not for every ear but I was on a studio vibe and this is what came out! Had so much fun producing it and it’s kind of got back that energy of my early production days. New PC, new Daw, new music. After a little break I’m back on it! Forbidden Society Recordings presents: FSRECS018 - 3RDKND (Donny x Forbidden Society x Katharsys)  - Purge EP

There is something to be majestic about stalwarts of a certain flock
coming together to be creative. The harder side of Drum & Bass
didn't have it's own power formation until today. It's as of this day
that Czech producer Forbidden Society, formed an alliance with two
of his most respected peers to create 3RDKND. Donny, Katharsys and FS all have a strong lean to rhythmic textures, tough drum cuts and experimental FX works. Just in time for the European festival season, the thunderous first effort has arrived; and it's going to turn some heads.

Purge EP is a work of experience, seeking for the outer bounderies of whats sonically possible. The title track is an electronic behemoth which revolves around boundary pushing drum programming and pure unfiltered energy. ''The Artifact '' is a straight up dancefloor anthem which uses an ominous vocal of cinematic proportions to build up to the halftime body of heavy hitting drums. ''Fire And Blood'' is an experimental work of the rhythmic endurance. 
The final track is a 3RDKND remix of an original track by Donny and FS. This is the final showcasing of the trinity's sonical excellence. ''Purge EP'' will be released through Forbidden Society's self titled label and will be available through all specialized retailers starting May 25.
