The FDR framing and talk of the climate for organizing are part of the co-opting of labor I feel. In the sense that like Aaron said, more of that organizing was happening under Trump. If we look back at the height of American labor it was when Pinkertons actively shot at strikers. I am not saying we should get that back, but I feel that people like this labor notes writer are framing the vibes of the FDR era and pasting over the reality that those advancements existed to weaken the movement through concessions. Even if the New Deal remained it would still be only a minor advancement in some regards and a regression in others. The fact that we are told that the president affects labor organizing is a problem, the strength of the unions shouldn't be tied to how appeasing elected officials are or not. Only labors own hand may break those chains

All of their talk about Bibi makes me feel that they are doubling down. They will remove him and loose that lackey just so that Israel can follow through on exterminating Palestinians. Him getting sold out is such a blatant attempt to distance themselves and Israel from the things even they must pretend are inexcusable.
